Industry News: Azure introduces Azure IoT Edge.

Companies are learning more and more how the power of IoT can morph their business as the use of IoT devices continues to expand. These devices have become an asset to companies today as it allows them to sense things in the real world by using processing and decisions making applications in the cloud. As IoT continues to grow, you would think it would become more complicated for developers to build high end IoT devices to keep up with the industry standard.

But, you would be wrong. Earlier this year at the Build developers conference Azure introduced an amazing new product, Azure IoT Edge. This product is to address the needs of developers to process more data and take action directly on the IoT device itself. Azure IoT Edge enables businesses to run cloud intelligence directly on IoT devices “smaller than a raspberry Pi.”

• Year own code in Containers
• Protocol adaptor as modules- OPC-UA and Modbus
