Gathering Consumer Insights With Loyalty and Rewards

With a powerful suite of tools already at their disposal, the Motivate team was still struggling with manual data collection and outdated survey tools that made their process for collecting insights slow and repetitive. Out of these struggles, the idea was born – SureShot – a loyalty and rewards app that would allow them to consistently gather insights from teenagers by rewarding them for completing surveys.
SureShot was one of the first apps of its kind. They wanted to give teenagers gift cards in return for answering questions through their phone and then use the power of Salesforce, IBM Watson, and Alteryx to analyze this data and provide insights to their clients. After solving some early challenges like being in compliance with the COPPA Act, and needing to capture in-depth demographic information; it was time to build the survey functions.
TriFin Labs built a custom survey tool within Salesforce to allow Motivate’s team, with little experience in Salesforce, to build custom surveys that can be pushed to the SureShot app and made available for users instantly. This allows them to control every aspect of the app with clicks, not code, on the Salesforce platform. These surveys were integrated with IBM Watson and Alteryx and are now being used by Motivate’s Fortune-500 clients to gather insights daily. SureShot’s ease of use and data-driven model makes it a powerful tool for the insights industry.
